Year 4 visit Spar to post their Santa Letters

This morning, all of year four and our amazing Therapy Dog Rosie had a lovely walk to Glebeside Spar to deliver our wonderful Santa letters. 6OBCH Telling Time

We have been revising how to tell the time on analogue clocks. We began by showing different times on small clocks to the teacher to check our understanding. Afterwards, we took part in a range of activities to practise our skills. These included a Blooket quiz, playing online telling time games, enjoying a game of time bingo and even pretending to be the teacher by quizzing our group.

Smokebusters Webinar in 7NT

On Friday, Y7NT participated in a Smokebusters Webinar ran by Cancer Focus NI. As part of the webinar they investigated the dangers of smoking and vaping and then participated in drama activities in which they practiced saying no to smoking and vaping. The children really enjoyed their Smokebusters webinar.

Year 1KO’N Decorate our Christmas Tree

Christmas has arrived in Year 1KO’N! We had great fun making our own Christmas tree decorations. We enjoyed getting messy and using our fingers to paint. Once they were dried, we added them to our Christmas tree in our classroom.

Smokebusters in 7RR

On Friday afternoon the pupils participated in a Smokebusters’ webinar led by Judith West. The pupils were given the opportunity to explore the dangers of both smoking and vaping. They then explored how to cope with peer pressure through drama.

Year 1AH Santa Letters

28th Nov 2025

Year 1 had a very exciting Literacy lesson this week - we wrote our letters to Santa. Our parents and carers helped us to create a list of what we would like. We used this list to look for pictures in catalogues to cut out. We used our phonic skills to write Santa and practised writing our names. We are looking forward to waking to the Post Office next week to post our letters to the North Pole.
