P5 pupils in Mr Hayter’s class have created some fantastic rainforest shoebox projects as part of their homework. Each child turned a simple shoebox into a mini rainforest scene, showing different layers of the forest and a variety of plants and animals. Year 4 enjoyed a fantastic visit by Wee Critters today which was a wonderful compliment to our current learning on minibeasts. The children had opportunities to view and hold a variety of animals which classify as minibeasts, reptiles, amphibians and arachnids. Our pupils showed their incredible strength and bravery by observing and holding each of these animals. Here are a few photographs to enjoy.
