On Friday afternoon the pupils participated in a Smokebusters’ webinar led by Judith West. The pupils were given the opportunity to explore the dangers of both smoking and vaping. They then explored how to cope with peer pressure through drama.

Year 1 had a very exciting Literacy lesson this week - we wrote our letters to Santa. Our parents and carers helped us to create a list of what we would like. We used this list to look for pictures in catalogues to cut out. We used our phonic skills to write Santa and practised writing our names. We are looking forward to waking to the Post Office next week to post our letters to the North Pole.

We also take part in Anti-Bullying Live Teach lessons to build understanding of kind behaviours and how to find support for challenges with friend groups. This afternoon the Eco Committee met on Wednesday 26th November. The boys and girls on the Eco Committee, worked well together to clear weeds and rake the wooden beds 6-8 and also to clear the wooden bed which had peas growing last term.
