Y6 Big Walk and Wheel Challenge Week

This week we have been learning about the benefits of coming to school on foot, by bike, scooter, skateboard or any other way in which we can be more active. In school, we have also completed the Daily Mile, been outside playing hockey and learning about the benefits of exercise. We also learnt how to check our bikes to make sure they are ready to roll - pedals, tyres, lights, brakes and chain. These all need regular checking and maintenance. Not only does this keep us safe on our bike, being active keeps us fit and helps with our overall wellbeing. Every time you go outside, think how can you be more active each day.
