Year 1 have been enjoying the story ‘Handa’s Surprise’. During Play Based Learning we were set the challenge of using Lego to build some fruits. We had to think about the shape and colours of the fruit. There was lots of talk about the length of blocks needed and problem solving of how to put them together to show the different shapes. We did a super job!
