Year 4 had a wonderful Sports Day on Monday 8th June, held in our school grounds. All the boys and girls in Year 4 in Mrs McNaughton’s class, Mrs Murphy’s class and Mrs Mack’s class participated in all the Yr 4 Sports Day events. Great fun and sportsmanship, were shown throughout the Sprints, Egg and Spoon, Obstacle races, the Bean bag and Long Jump Finals. The afternoon concluded with the presentation of Yr 4 Bronze, Silver and Gold medals in all events and the Yr 4 Boy and Girl Champion Shields. Everyone in Yr 4 received stickers for super participation in our Sports Day. A huge thanks to Mrs McNaughton, for compiling all Yr 4 Sporting and recording lists of events and being compère at the start of each event and to all non- teaching staff for helping with supervision, equipment and photography on the day. Also thank you to our School Building Supervisor, Mr Johnston, for having all the boundaries clearly marked for everyone in our sports area in the school grounds. Finally, many thanks to all parents/ carers for attending and supporting your child and his / her classmates in our Yr 4 Sports Day.
