Year 4NM really enjoyed their visits this week from our friendly therapy puppy Rosie. She is learning how to sit and wears a special jacket when she is in ‘school work’ mode. We are learning to support her needs by thinking about seating, space and her wellbeing around our classroom. Twice a week, Rosie joins us for our reading time, we complete shared reading together and Rosie visits each pupil at their desk during their activities. Every pupil will also have a turn to sit in our accessible area, using the bean bags to get down to Rosie’s level and enjoy her calming presence.
