Today Year Four went for a walk along the North Road and nearby residential streets. We completed a survey in the form of a tally chart with pupils examining the urban streets for seven different types of home. Pupils worked in pairs to describe the houses and mark the survey sheet to show the frequency of each type of house. We practised our Road Safety learning from last week in dressing appropriately for the foggy weather and crossing the road carefully in suitable places to keep us all safe. We used Google Earth and screen share to check the accuracy of our data, before constructing individual bar charts during our Numeracy lesson. Well done to everyone, a lovely community walk to practise our World Around Us and Numeracy topics knowledge.
